\nComo adelanto del mismo ya sabemos quien ser\u00e1 el galardonado de este a\u00f1o.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nEl director estadounidense Joe Dante recibir\u00e1 el galard\u00f3n \u201cEstrella
\ndel Fant\u00e1stico\u201d del festival de Cine Fant\u00e1stico de Bilbao \u2013 Fant, en
\nreconocimiento a su carrera dentro del genero.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nDante se curti\u00f3 en la factor\u00eda de Roger Corman como editor
\nhasta que salto a la direcci\u00f3n codirigiendo con Allan Arkush en \u201cHollywood
\nBoulevard\u201d (1976). En 1978 probo suerte en solitario con Pira\u00f1a y seguida mente
\ntubo un gran \u00e9xito con \u201cThe Howling (Aullidos)\u201d en 1981. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nA partir de esta pel\u00edcula, comenzar\u00eda una exitosa
\ncolaboraci\u00f3n con el productor Steven Spielbierg, dirigiendo uno de los
\ncap\u00edtulos de la adaptaci\u00f3n cinematogr\u00e1fica de la serie \u201cThe Twiligh Zone\u201d.  <\/span>Aunque su mayor \u00e9xito comercial y la pel\u00edcula
\npor la que el mundo lo recordara es \u201cGremlins\u201d (1984), fruto de la colaboraci\u00f3n
\ncon Steven Spielbierg y que le seguir\u00edan otros \u00e9xitos como \u201cGremlins 2\u201d o \u201cEl
\nChip Prodigioso\u201d<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
